We've been entertaining the idea of getting an artificial tree.
I saw a news report about a connection between live trees and increased mold counts, but I do love the smell of a real tree.
I would hate to deprive Chris of that olfactory memory, and yet the appeal of a pre-lit tree is undeniable.

This is an excellent book. The plot involves a man injured in a car accident who suffers a form of brain damage that leaves him unable to recognize his sister; but the book is essentially about the self. It is beautifully written and hard to put down. I hope some of my friends out there will read it so we can discuss!
